All eligible pilgrims to be airlifted to Mecca- Hajj Board Chair

The Chairman of Hajj Board Shiekh I.C Quaye says, all eligible pilgrims will be airlifted to Hajj, without any left over.
Addressing the media in Accra, Shiekh I.C Quaye said the board has accomplish it task this year following a successful hajj arrangement here in Ghana and Saudi Arabia.
He added that the Board has paid all it debts and have put adequate measures to insure that intruders do not affect it lodging place is Saudi Arabia like it happened last year.
Meanwhile, Interior Ministry has declared Tuesday 21, August, 2018 which marks the celebration of Eid ul-Adha festival, a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
The declaration was in a statement issued by the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, and copied to gbcghanaonline, Wednesday August 15, 2018.
The Eidul-Adha festival is also known as the feast of sacrifice. It is celebrated annually by Muslims to mark Prophet Abraham’s intended sacrifice of his son in fulfillment of a command from God.
The festival coincides with the Hajj activities currently ongoing in Saudi Arabia.
