Endeavor Energy, a Power generation company in Ghana has donated Ghc350,000 to the COVID-19 National Trust Fund established by the President to assist poor and needy persons affected by the pandemic.
Richard Badger- Deputy General Manager of the company on Thursday said, the gesture is to support government assist to the poor and needy in the society in these precarious times.
Prudential Bank, on a separate occasion also made a donation of Ghc200,000 to the trust Fund through its Managing Director, John K. Addo.
Also, the Food and Drugs Authority, FDA, Board Chair, Dr. Sammy Ohene, presented a cash cheque of Ghc30,000 to the Fund as contributions of management and staff of the institution to support the noble course of the COVID-19 Trust Fund.
Pacific Oil Marketing Company on a separate event also donated a cheque of Ghc100,000 to the COVID-19 Trust Fund.
Helen Africa Foundation, also, donated GHc10,000 while Tong Long Company Limited donated 20,000 pieces of face mask to the Trust Fund.
Archbishop Justice Ofei Akrofi, a member of the Board of Trustees of the COVID-19 Trust Fund, received the donations and thanked the donors for their kind gesture.
