Ghanaians urged to engage professionals in building to avoid disaster

The Minister of Environment Science, Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has called on Ghanaians to engage professionals in building when erecting structures.
Speaking to Radio Ghana in Parliament, Professor Frimpong Boateng said the recent earth tremor should be a wake up call that natural occurrences cannot be stopped and so it behoves the public to take precautions.
Meanwhile, Land management in the country has over the years passed through so many reforms aimed at making land acquisition easy and simple for investors and developers, but the sector is yet to experience any progress.
What is the Lands Commission doing about the deterioration in land acquisition and management.
