The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration recently organised the annual “A Day with the Diplomatic Community Games” in Accra.
The event aimed to promote healthy cooperation and informal fraternisation among the diplomatic community in Ghana and the ministry.
In her address, Foreign Affairs Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey emphasised the need for African nations to set aside cultural differences and work together to promote peace and development.
She stressed the importance of regular exercise and socialisation in fostering unity among diplomatic members.
The event, themed “Strengthening Relationships, Creating Lasting Memories,” brought together the diplomatic community for a fun-filled day of sports and cultural exchange.
Madam Ayorkor Botchwey highlighted the significance of cultural exchange in building lasting relationships between Ghana and the international community.
Chief Director Ramses Cleland expressed optimism that the event would enhance Ghana’s relationship with the global community.
The event featured a diverse range of programs, including competitive games such as soccer, long tennis, lime and spoon, badminton, and basketball.
