Former Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Chief Executive, Nana Akwasi Agyeman is dead.

He passed away at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he was receiving medical attention.

During his tenure as Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Nana Akwasi Agyeman affectionately called Okumkom by residents of Kumasi was ruthless often cracking the whip on persons who flouted the KMA by-laws especially traders.

He was ranked by many as the all-time best Chief Executive who had the development of Kumasi at heart.
