Inhabitants of four communities in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region can now have easy access to the market centre at Nyoli and the district capital Wechiau to sell their farm produce.
The communities are Meteu, Chogsia, Ayuokuraa and Yibokuraa.
This has been made possible through the creation of a new road by the District Assembly funded with the District Development Fund at GH¢142,000.
Inspecting the level of work done so far on the 15-kilometre road, Upper West Regional Minister Alhaji Sulemana Alhassan said the central government has decentralised the construction of feeder roads and that more access roads will be constructed by the end of the first term in office of the NPP government in the region.
