Fourth Session of Ghana – Namibia Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation held in Accra

The 4th Session of the Ghana – Namibia Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation has been held in Accra from Monday 18th April to Wednesday 20th April, 2022.

 

The Government of Ghana and the Government of Namibia signed seven (7) Memoranda of Understanding in the following areas:

1. Cooperation in the field of Social Protection, Gender Mainstreaming and Women Empowerment
2. Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture
3. Trade and Economic Cooperation
4. Maritime Cooperation
5. Tourism
6. Cooperation in the Field of Sport Development
7. Cooperation in the areas of Oil and Gas

Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and her counterpart Hon. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, participated in the PJCC and also signed the MoUs to continue bilateral relations between both countries.
