Management of the Ghana Education Service, GES has registered its displeasure over the improper behaviour of Final Year WASSCE students.

A statement by the GES said it is appalled by scenes of videos making round on social media showing some students demonstrating gross indiscipline and making unfortunate comments about high profile personalities including the President, for the difficulties they encountered in writing the Integrated Science Paper.

The statement indicated that school rules and regulations, particularly involving the conduct of examinations, have not been suspended in any form and therefore any student established to have misconducted him or herself in any of the indiscipline acts, should be de-boardinized and be allowed to commute from home to write the exams under parental control.

Also, any destruction of school property will be surcharged against the culprits established to be involved.  Acts deemed to be criminal in nature should be reported to the Police for investigation.

The statement said Directors have been asked to take action on all such misconducts and submit reports to the Director-General immediately.

It urged school authorities to remain steadfast in guarding examination rules, and cautioned against indiscipline.

GES assured law-abiding students of its support to go through the exams successfully.
