The IGP, Dr. George Akufo Dampaare has visited Bolgatanga, Regional capital of the Upper East after some suspected armed robbers allegedly shot to death two Police Officers at Zurangu.
The Officers in question reportedly arrived at the Zuarungu Market, the scene of the robbery where the robbers opened fire on them. Our Correspondent Samuel Akayeti reports that the IGP assured the people that the perpetrators of the crime would be apprehended.
He announced a GH₵ 50,000 bounty on information that would lead to the arrest of the robbers.
