Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak which killed a family of five including a three week-old baby at Dansoman, a suburb of Accra yesterday.
The deceased, a pastor’s wife, three children and mother-in-law were burnt to ashes when fire gutted their storey building.
The Dansoman District Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church, Pastor Ato Kessie was not in the house at the time of the incident.
According to him, the victims were trapped by the security burglar proof at the entrance of the room, thereby preventing them from escaping.
The bodies have since been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue.
