Ghana Health Service trains more than 46,000 persons to undertake Covid-19 vaccinations

The Ghana Health Service is currently training about 12,000 vaccinators mainly personnel from the Ghana Health Service to be deployed to carry out the Covid-19 vaccination.

Also 34,000 volunteers are undergoing the same training as part of the campaign to roll-out the vaccine.

This is to ensure that no Ghanaian is left out in the vaccination which begins on Monday, March 1.

Speaking on the UNIIQ Breakfast Drive, Director of Health Promotion at the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Dacosta Aboagye explained that the vaccine is free and advised the public to disregard myths associated with them.

Dr. Dacosta Aboagye said the media will not be left out when it comes to front-line workers.
