Ghana Teacher Prize 2018

The National Teacher Awards have been rebranded ‘Ghana Teacher Prize’ with an international standard as the new benchmark

The theme for this year’s celebration is: “The right to education means the right to a qualified teacher”.

The most outstanding teacher would take home a three-bedroom house plus a GH¢5,000 endowment fund, the first runner-up would receive a 4×4 Pickup while the second runner-up received a saloon car.

Other prizes include fridges, deep freezers, laptops, television sets, branded ‘T’-shirts, books/pens, endowment fund and cash prizes.

The World Teacher’s Day is a day created by UNESCO to show appreciation for teachers all over the world and to assess and help teachers to improve. It is also a day that is used to look at the unique issues that directly affect teachers.
