The Ghana Navy has named its newly established museum located at the Naval Headquarters in Accra after its immediate past Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Geoffrey Bierko.
It has also christened an auditorium located at its headquarters in Accra after one of its former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah.
The two facilities were inaugurated on the occasion of the West Africa Soldiers Soical Activity (WASSA) organised by the Navy in Accra.
The current CNS, Real Admiral Peter Kofi Fiadoo, explained that the move is to acknowledge the immense contribution the two former Chiefs of Naval Staff made during their tenure of office towards the growth and development of the Ghana Navy.
