Ghana is in the process of coming out with a policy to deal with plastic waste.

In view of this, a delegation made up of waste recyclers, plastic importers and manufacturers and officials from state institutions were in Bonn, Germany to acquaint themselves with good practices deployed there in dealing with plastic waste.

Vivian Ahiayibor of City Waste Recycling at Pokuasi, was among the delegation and tells Radio Ghana news that enforcement of environment laws in Germany is key to their success in dealing with the issue.
