The Bishop of  Winneba Diocese of the Methodist Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. John Kweku Buabeng-Odoom says the country will make progress, if Ghanaians use their talents profitably.

He noted that although Ghana is blessed with natural and human resources, it is yet to achieve the desired development.

Rt Rev. Dr. Buabeng-Odoom said this in his valedictory message at the Ebenezer Methodist Cathedral at Winneba in the Central Region.

He urged Ghanaians to use their God given talents to the benefit of the country, rather than using them to destroy progress made by their forbears.

He thanked the Church for its support during his Six, (6)-year tenure of office as Diocesan Bishop, and urged members to extend the same to the incoming Bishop.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Buabeng-Odoom who was the Diocesan Synod Secretary, entered into the Ministry about 33 years ago and has served in four Dioceses of the Church.

They are Koforidua, Cape Coast, Tema and Winneba. The Rt. Rev. Dr. Buabeng-Odoom is on transfer to the Gethsemane Methodist Church at Mamprobi in Accra
