The Bishop of the Winneba Methodist Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. John Kweku Buabeng-Odoom says the country will make progress if Ghanaians use their talents profitably.
According to him, Ghana is blessed with natural resources as well as human resource yet it is developing rapidly.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Buabeng-Odoom made the observation at his valedictory service at the Ebenezer Methodist Cathedral in Winneba in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region.
He urged Ghanaians to use their God given talents to benefit the country rather than using them to destroy progress made their forbears.
He thanked the Church for its support to him during his six-year term of office as a Diocesan Bishop and urged the members to extend the same courtesy to the incoming Bishop.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Buabeng-Odoom who was the Diocesan Synod Secretary, entered into the Ministry about 33 years ago and has served in four Dioceses of the Church.
They are Koforidua, Cape Coast, Tema and Winneba .Rt. Rev. Dr. Buabeng-Odoom is on transfer to the Gethsemane Methodist Church at Mamprobi in Accra.
