The Head Pastor of Fertile Chapel International, Rev. Samuel Nyarko, has advised Ghanaians to sacrifice towards national development as Christ sacrificed his life on the Cross to save mankind.
According to him, “leadership is a place to sacrifice for the people, like the Lord Jesus Christ, Kwame Nkrumah, and Nelson Mandela, among others.”
Speaking in an interview on Day 1 of a 3-day leadership conference themed “You Can Win”, Rev. Nyarko called on leaders to live exemplary lives.

“The word leadership is an influential position which calls for more positive examples beyond titles, but rather, it’s a place of absolute involvement to lead people to their destination.”
The program, from Wednesday, July 20, to Friday, July 22, 2022, at the church premises at Taborah-Alhaji, is aimed at raising leaders and re-direct the attention of the church to the place of service by building the church for society.

Rev. Nyanko stated that God sees leadership as a servant in Christianity, and he encouraged religious leaders in churches and mosques to deepen their understanding of who a true leader is in their teachings.
He said, “Demanding for 20% COLA is not a true reflection of true leadership.”
He highlighted, “Politics is not an avenue to get rich overnight.”

He said he’s hoping to see the life of the church transformed before the end of the event, that the church is sick, which calls for revival through imparting knowledge.
He also reminded the youth that hard work pays off and that they should remain focused on achieving their God-given vision.
