Ghana’s Ambassador to Rome receives highest Papal award

Ghana’s Ambassador to Rome, Joseph Akudibilah, has been presented with the highest Papal award from the Vatican.

The award is often given to Ambassadors accredited to the Holy See, after two years at post.

It is also presented to Catholics who have performed exceptionally in the wider world, mainly on the international scene and for their outstanding deeds for the church and society.

The award was presented to Ambassador Akudibilah in Rome by the Secretary of State to the Holy See Card, Pietro Parolin.

Ambassador Akudibilah expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo and Ghanaians for the privilege to serve as Ambassador, which has earned him the noble award.
