Almost two years after street lights were installed on the road stretching from the Police Headquarters to the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) as a result of incessant attacks on students of the Institute, the situation is still a source of worry as students continue to suffer attacks.
The initial move to get the street lights fixed to check the attacks were led by some private radio stations.
The GIJ students say they have fallen victim to laptop and phone snatching as well as robbery of personal and academic possessions.
They are appealing for urgent intervention from government and the GIJ Authorities to halt the criminal attacks.
