GIS fortifies its entry points to protect Ghanaians against coronavirus

The Ghana Immigration Service, GIS says it is putting measures in place to protect people resident in the country against the coronavirus.

The Immigration Service is doing this by improving its presence at the border points in the Upper West Region.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Upper West Regional Public Relations Officer of the GIS, Ibn Yussif Duranah said so far, no suspicious conditions have been reported at any of the entry points in the region.

Mr. Duranah, however, cautioned the public to remain on high alert and report any suspicious or unidentified medical conditions to the nearest health facilities.
