 The Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) has asked the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation to help ensure professionalism during the 2020 Election.

Speaking at a courtesy call on  Board of the Corporation, the President of the GJA,  Roland Affail Monney said a lot is expected of the State Broadcaster for a free and fair General Election.

Mr. Monney urged the   GBC  to give equal opportunities to all parties, adding that the GJA would ensure that the Corporation will not be denied the necessary logistical support to deliver on its core mandate.

The Director-General of GBC, Professor Amin Alhassan expressed the Corporation’s readiness to collaborate with the GJA to provide good content and called for more support to help equip the Corporation.

He promised that the Corporation would ensure fairness in its coverage of the elections.
