The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) as part of its responsibility to influence Public Policy has launched a 24-Month Project on Environmental Sanitation Governance.
The project, is to help educate the people on the impact of poor sanitation on development and to throw more light on the Sanitation By-Laws.
President of the GJA, Affail Monney said, the initiative is to re-emphasize the role the media together with the State and other Non-State Actors can play in the country to ensure a buoyant economy.
He stressed on the responsibility of the media in Ghana to educate the public on good Sanitation and Waste Management practices.
