The Ghana Journalists Association, GJA, is seeking the assistance of government to build an ultra-modern Press Centre for Journalists.

According to the GJA, the current Press Centre which houses the offices of the GJA has developed defects.

The GJA has therefore designed a 15-floor storey building to replace the current one donated by the Kufuor government.

It’s President Roland Affail Monney said the proposed building will accommodate all media affiliated institutions such as the Ghana Independent Broadcaster’s Association, Institute of Public Relations, and Advertisers Association of Ghana among others.

President Akufo-Addo directed the Association to brief the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, who was present at the meeting, on the project.
