President Akufo-Addo yesterday, Sunday August 21, 2022 arrived in Wa, for a two-day duty tour of the Upper West Region. On arrival, the President paid a short visit to the 10 Mechanized Battalion in Wa, to interact with the Security forces in the Region.
President Akufo-Addo said government is committed to enhancing security at the country’s borders.
President Akufo-Addo expressed appreciation to personnel of the security agencies for working to safeguard the country’s peace and stability.
President Akufo-Addo asked security personnel to collaborate with civilians to protect the country.
The President as part of the visit will grant a radio interview on GBC’S Radio Upper West at 10AM this morning.
