Group to demonstrate in Kumasi over economic hardship

A group calling itself, Coalition of National Sovereignty (CNS) is expected to walk through the principal streets of Kumasi, in the Ashanti region to express their anger against the government over what they described as ‘economic hardship’.

The organizers of the demonstration, said they will protest on the principal streets of Kumasi on Thursday September 19, 2019 starting from the Jubilee Park, at 7am.

In a statement issued and signed by The leader of the group, Nana Gyataba, mentioned some as “ the suffering Ghanaian masses, disenchanted Kejetia Market Women, betrayed small scale miners, troubled and concerned teachers, disillusioned commercial drivers, parents of misplaced JHS graduates and the general breakdown in security in the country.

The statement further that, “Ghana deserves better, lets join the struggle with pain and tears, posterity would honour our love for country”.

The Coalition for National Sovereignty (CNS) announces for the information of the suffering Ghanaian masses, disenchanted Kejetia Market Women, betrayed small scale miners, troubled and concerned teachers, disillusioned commercial drivers, parents of misplaced JHS graduates and the general public of its intended mass protest against economic hardship, high cost of living, tyrannical rule and the general breakdown in security in the country.

The CNS would protest on the principal streets of Kumasi on Thursday September 19, 2019 starting from the Jubilee Park, Kumasi at 7am. We are by this press release informing stakeholders to join in the struggle to express our agony publicly.

The media is equally informed to call the following persons for any interaction on this important patriotic mass protest.
