The Volta Regional Directorate of the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS), has taken the ongoing 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) to Ho Central Prison to enumerate the inmates.
There was a smile on the faces of the inmates as they walked in an orderly manner to the enumerators to be counted.
Compliance with the rules and regulations governing the exercise was high as they provided necessary details to the enumerators in that spirit of humility.
Some of the inmates who spoke in an interview were full of joy to be part of the exercise.
An inmate who gave his name as Samuel said the questions posed by the enumerators were not difficult to answer and the process was also fast.
Mr Tsorme Courage Kweku, one of the enumerators, said he was happy about the level of cooperation and hoped it would continue to ensure a successful exercise.
