The National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values has called on the Inspector-General of Police and other relevant institutions to immediately close down the office of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer office (LGBTQ+) located in Tesano.

The Coalition aims at articulating the correct position on proper human sexual behaviour, as well as put forward a well reasoned and informed position against gay rights, propose modern comprehensive solution-based legislation for dealing with such abnormal behaviour and tendencies.

Additionally, it is to raise awareness of the developmental and health consequences of accepting LGBTQ+ rights. According to Mr. Amoaning, the Constitution of Ghana enjoins the people to protect the socio-cultural rights of Ghanaians, explaining that the socio-cultural rights abhor LGBTQ+ rights.

He said the citing of LGFBTQ+ office in the country is an offence to the Constitution. The President of the Ghana Bishops’ Conference, Archbishop Philip Naameh, said the conviction of the Catholic Church is that God created man and woman with a purpose to procreate saying the LGBTQ+ is against the plans of God.
