The Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, today visited some major Bus Terminals in Accra and interacted with Commercial Transport Operators and passengers.
This visit is part of the road safety exercise being embarked on by the National Road Safety Authority and the Police to sensitize drivers and passengers on the need to comply with the Road Traffic Regulation to avoid accidents and fatalities during the Easter festivities.
The IGP visited the Neoplan station, VIP, 2M Express and STC Terminals.
Dr. Akuffo Dampare assured the drivers and passengers that ”the Police are on the road to ensure their safety”, before, during and after the Easter festivities”.
