The Media Foundation for West Africa has expressed concern about the slow pace in the implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) law.
Programmes Officer of the Foundation, Adizatu Moro Maija in an interview with GBC News said since the President gave assent to the Bill in 2019, very little has been done to make the law operational.
Miss Maija called on Government to learn from countries that have already implemented the law as well as intensify public education on the necessary steps to take in accessing information under the law.
