A Security Analyst, Adib Saani has charged government to invest more into intelligence gathering to avert violence in Ghana.
Speaking to GBC’s Nana Ama Omari, on the violent incidents in the Brong Ahafo Region, Mr. Saani said the issue can be attributed to the inability of the security agencies to effectively gather intelligence.
He urged the police to up their game and arrest the culprits.
Drobo, Japekrom and about six other communities in the Jaman South Municipality have been placed under dusk to Dawn Curfew.
The decision came in the wake of clashes between Drobo and Japekrom which resulted in four deaths and 15 injuries.
Meanwhile, calm has been restored to the neighbouring towns thanks to the presence of Military -cum-Police reinforcement brought in from Berekum and Sunyani.
