The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God-Ghana, Reverend Dr Stephen Yenusom Wengam, says although the intervention of the Inspector General of Police to curtail false prophetic ministry is laudable, it is also impossible to regulate spirituality.
He advocated that should people err in administering their calling as pastors or prophets, they must be made to face the law to serve as deterrent.
He said if care is not taken, some leaders can capitalize on the situation to use state machinery to curtail the free expression guaranteed by the Constitution.
Rev. Wengham said he is not against prophecies but wisdom must be applied.
