NDC flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama has called on the government to do more for health workers as they manage COVID -19.
In an address on face-book live, Mr. Mahama said, while government has outlined a number of measures to protect health workers, indications are that government’s commitment to them seem to be lip service.
He noted that delays in the payment of allowances and the inadequacy of Protective Equipment for health workers leave room for criticism against government’s commitments and this also affects moral for the job.
