President of the Ghana Bar Association, Anthony Forson, has called on stakeholders in the legal fraternity to join forces in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said this when he presented Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) worth thirty thousand cedis to the Judicial Service.

The Chief Justice, Justice Anin Yeboah who received the items on behalf of the Service said the Judicial Service is handicapped in accepting gifts or donations from the public,  therefore coming from the bar is most appreciated.

He said the outbreak of COVID-19 is something nobody factored in its annual budget, and it is, therefore, an appreciated support from the  Bar.

The items donated are Sanitizers, Veronica buckets, Tissues, Infra-Red Thermometers, among others.
