Meanwhile, the National Road Safety Authority says its preliminary investigations show that the accident that occurred on the Kintampo road was caused by fatigue.

A Senor Programmes and Control Manager with the Authority, Henry Assumeni said drivers who drive tired end up sleeping behind the wheels and endanger the lives of passengers.

Speaking on GBC’s Uniiq Breakfast Drive, Mr. Assumeni said plans are underway to educate commercial drivers and give them further training in other areas as well.
