The Office of former President, John Agyekum Kufuor has dispelled rumours that he has been infected with coronavirus.
A Special Aide to the former President, Dr. Kwabena Osei Adubofuor said reports suggesting that Mr. Kufuor and some members of his family are in isolation over COVID-19 fears are untrue and must be treated with the contempt they deserve.
He added that Mrs.Theresa Kufuor and other close relations are all healthy contrary to the widespread information on social media.
The aide advised individuals peddling the falsehood to desist from such unscrupulous actions.
