A Private Legal Practitioner, Justice Abdulai has described the power play between the Attorney General and Parliament over admission into the Ghana School of Law as healthy for Ghana’s democracy. This is because arguments from both arms of the government have been based on legal reasoning. In an interview with GBC News, Mr. Abdulai supported calls for an overhaul of the country’s legal education system.

‘’When we have these healthy discussions it shapes the law, it enables us to know the limit of each arm of government in this particular state in respect to who has an ultimate control over the Law School and how it should be run…..the system we operate today should be such that so long as the person is able to meet the basic requirements, I think that person should be admitted”, he stated.
