Justice Honyenuga who was answering a question on the role of the Justice for All Programme during his vetting Monday, May 11, by the Appointments Committee said the Ghana Legal Aid Scheme lacks resources including lawyers.

He explained that the Scheme sometimes rely on the benevolence of the Ghana Bar Association for lawyers to represent their clients in courts.

He said some of the lawyers who do their National Service at the scheme leave after Serving because they do not find the scheme attractive to work with.

Commenting on his alleged endorsement of President Akufo-Addo for a 2nd term, Justice Honyenuga apologised explaining that the remarks were not necessarily to endorse the President but to wish him well.
