The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has extended warm wishes to Muslims across Ghana as they celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a message to the Muslim community, the Minister commended their devotion, sacrifice and commitment to spiritual growth throughout the fasting period. He noted that the discipline, generosity and compassion exhibited during Ramadan are values that should continue to guide daily life and contribute to national development.

He urged Muslims and all Ghanaians to uphold peace and unity, emphasizing the need for religious tolerance and harmonious coexistence among diverse groups in the country. According to him, Ghana’s stability remains a shared responsibility that must be protected at all times.

On safety, the Minister advised the public to be mindful of road use and adhere to safety guidelines during the celebrations to prevent accidents and ensure a peaceful holiday.

He expressed confidence that prayers offered during Ramadan would bring blessings, peace and prosperity to the nation.

The Minister wished all Muslims a happy and fulfilling Eid celebration.
