The Editor-in-Chief of the Fourth Estate, Manasseh Azure Awuni has said that he would have used the approach City FM/TV Journalist, Caleb Kudah used to report about the alleged National Security vehicles scandal.
The Editor-in-chief stated that the ethics of Journalism allows for secret filming in report.
“If in 2021 I wanted to take pictures of those vehicles at the National Security place. I would have done enough what Caleb Kudah did because when the straightforward means of getting information becomes impossible ethics of the profession allows for the sake of public interest other means”, he stated.
He however stated that, he has done secret recordings before and that he sees nothing wrong with the approach.
“So, I have done secret recordings, because I knew from the very beginning that the face to face wouldn’t work. When you look at 2015 and 2020 stories, I have published”, he added.
