Ghana, Nigeria and Denmark are embarking on a capacity building programme for maritime security operatives and officers to ensure tighter security over the Gulf of Guinea.
The three day programme is being hosted by the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre in Accra.
It has become necessary as the Gulf of Guinea is currently reported to be facing myriad of security challenges including the adoption of sophisticated strategies by pirates.
