The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Louis Owusu Agyapong, has congratulated Ghanaian workers for their tireless efforts in contributing toward the development of the country especially in this period of the global pandemic of COVID 19.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, he noted that workers have a lot of issues to be addressed by government and asked them to exercise restraint.
Secretary of the Public Services Workers’ Union (PSWU), Lord Swanzy, implored workers to observe the protocols put in place to help in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
He also appealed to government and other employers to consider the current inflation rate and cushion the salaries of workers to enable them cater well for themselves and their families especially children in schools.
