As part of efforts to ease the unemployment challenges, the Methodist Church Ghana has created a Youth Support Fund (YSF) to help train them in employable skills.

The initiative which begins from the Connexional level of the church, will trickle down to all the Dioceses.

The Bishop of Sefwi Bekwai, Rt Rev Robert Felix Bassaw, announced this at a special Thanksgiving Service in honour of the third Diocesan Lay Chairman, Alex Adubofour at the Bethel Methodist Church at Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Regional capital.

He said the Diocese is liaising with the Business Advisory Centre to offer skills to the youth in the area.

The Diocesan Lay Chairman, Alex Adubofour, thanked the Church for his elevation to that status and promised to help put up befitting structures for needy societies in the Church.
