A high-powered delegation from the Ghana Armed Forces, led by the Chief of the Defense Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral, Seth Amoama, has paid a courtesy call on the Administrator of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), Dr. Richard Ampofo Boadu, at the Fund’s Secretariat in Accra.
According to the Chief of the Defense Staff, the visit was a follow-up on the promise President Akufo-Addo made on February 1, 2023, at the Burma Camp, about the establishment of War College in the country.
The President specifically called on GETFund to take the lead in providing the required funding towards the construction of a model War College in Africa.
CDS Amoama said when the President of the Republic and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces makes such statements, it is routine that the interested primary institution takes up the task by following through with the critical stakeholders such as GETFund in this instant in order to bring the promise to fruition.
