Minerals Commission seek Financial Clearance to recruit critical staff

The Minerals Commission through the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources is seeking Financial Clearance from the Ministry of Finance to recruit critical staff. Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh announced this when he paid a working visit to the Commission in Accra.

He said the recruitment process has become necessary because about fifty percent of critical technical staff of the Commission are going on retirement next year and it is important that their positions are filled.

He said the Commission is also increasing its mining districts from nine to 12 to enhance its operations.
