Miss Universe Ghana 2020 Queen, Chelsea Tayui has launched an Autism awareness campaign to  educate people on issues associated with autism.

The campaign which is themed “the world through our eyes” seeks to reduce the stigmatization associated with autism and also to see things from the autistic perspective.

According to the beauty queen, everyone is created in one image. Thus the image of God and no one should be stigmatized irrespective of their state of being.

She said society has not supported people living with autism and she urged the public to  treat autistic people with kindness since autism is a disorder that can happen to everyone.

“The heart beat and pulse of a nation is felt in in how we treat the weakest in our society.” she stated.

She pleaded with the public to search within their souls and see the world through their eye because autistic patients have needs and hurt like everyone.

She educated the public on some early symptoms associated with autism and asked the public to also educate themselves on autism while they walk the journey with people living with autism with love.
