A Seven year old boy who was reported missing at Adiembra a suburb of Sekondi in the Western Region on Saturday was found dead on Sunday.

According to eyewitnesses who helped to retrieve the body from bushes close to the Sekondi Naval Base mess, the boy had been stabbed on the neck and ribs.

According to a report filed by Radio Ghana’s Western Regional Correspondent Marie Aziz Tunde, the deceased, Kobina and his three other siblings lived with their 80 year old grandmother who had no control of them.

According to residents Kobina lives on the benevolence of residents who send him on errands.

Father of the deceased Jacob Cobbina mentioned that he had no access to his son because the mother of the boy has denied him custody of his child.

The Police have begun investigations into the case which has once again aggravated the fear and insecurity of residents who are yet to come to terms with the case of the missing Takoradi girls and the increase in armed robbery cases.
