In line with the Eid-al-Adha festival, the Federation of Muslim Councils of Ghana has extended fraternal greetings and ‘ Eid Mubarak’ to Muslims worldwide.
It has also greeted Ghanaians including the Leadership of the country on efforts to improve the economy.
The Council noted that as the festival is a commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim’s example of sacrifice and obedience to Allah, Muslims will continue with their sacrifice of animals and share same with their neighbours and draw the appropriate lessons.
The Federation called on all Muslims to promote peace in the country during and after the celebration.
Muslims must also intensify their prayers for national security.
