A young lady believed to be in her late twenties is alleged to have poisoned her two little children at Tema Newtown Thursday, July 30.
The children—aged between one and three years—were discovered dead after the woman confessed feeding them with a concoction.
They were allegedly poisoned by their mother in her room over claims of hardship.
A resident, Eric Tetteh, who narrated the incident to Radio Ghana, said it happened around 3 p.m., after she got some fish from a nearby house.
He said nobody suspected the woman believed to be a trader.
