The MP for Wa Central, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, has appealed to the Defense Ministry to offer compensation to victims of the Military brutality in Wa over the alleged missing phone saga.
Speaking to GBC NEWS on the matter, Dr. Pelpuo said a meeting has been scheduled with the Minister of Defense and the Military High Command to resolve the issue amicably.
Meanwhile, there is an ongoing crunch meeting between the Chiefs of Wa and a high-powered military delegation led by the Chief of Army Staff.
This comes after some personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces were seen in a viral video brutalizing some residents of Wa.
The meeting seeks to bring an amicable settlement to the issue.
