The 13-member committee responsible for the construction of the National Cathedral will later today (Tuesday) meet the Press to address the backlash against the Project.

This comes after some members of the public raised concerns over the relevance of the project and the inconvenience its construction is creating for judges already occupying the proposed site

According to the media the proposed site which is near the Ridge Roundabout is close to the Passport Office and has bungalows housing some Appeal’s Court Judges.

These offices and homes have to be demolished to pave the way for the National Cathedral. But this move of evicting people for the project has been criticised by the public, as some have questioned if the project is necessary.

President Akufo in March last year cut the sod for the construction of a National Cathedral to serve as a Non-Denominational Christian Worship Centre.
